Chris Rossi

Chris Rossi is a screenwriter, playwright, producer and director. His feature 
Meadowland, starring Olivia Wilde and Luke Wilson, and Elizabeth Moss was directed by Emmy Award-winner Reed Morano (Hulu’s A Handmaid’s Tale).  The Guardian called the film “Well-crafted and heartbreaking.” Rossi co-wrote the film  Adolescence (2018) and has sold several projects to studios. He has developed film and television scripts in both the Hollywood and independent space, working with directors like Gus Van Sant and Mcg. This year, he adapted Deanne Stillman’s acclaimed true crime thriller Desert Reckoning for the screen. His play, Early Humans, with Jason Alexander directing, is currently in development.  His theater work is often performed around Los Angeles and can be found in the volume “I Might Be the Person You Are Talking To” published by Padua Playwrights. He has just completed his first novel, the gothic-noir coming of age story Companion.
